Need a Solid Team Player?

Hi There,

I've setup this website in order to establish a more dynamic way to progress my career. Currently (March 2021) I'm in need of a job and career path. I live in Antioch CA, and am ready to start yesterday. I enjoy many aspects of Real Estate, but I would like to transition into a more steady role. I hope to flesh this site out a lot, however I will initially throw a bunch of paint at a wall, and see what sticks.

The short version of my career thus far:

  • Lots of misc ag jobs growing up in the Yakima Valley WA. Cherries, pears. Built 30 miles of fence.

  • BS in Business Admin from SAGU in TX 2011

  • 2011 - Sold pest control door to door in Houston for a college summer.

  • 2011-2013 I worked in an old C&H sugar plant in Toppenish WA that had been converted to a Glycerin Refinery. I kept books for 19 LLCs and invoiced about $2m per year. I basically did everything - broked hay, purchased Glycerin, dispatched for 2 trucks, managed inventory. Hopped on the forklift a few times... managed the website, did a 300 ton custom mixing project for a power plant; you name it, we solved all kinds of problems.

  • I left thinking I was going to study to be an actuary. I spend a summer studying 8 hours each day, and at the end, I took a practice test... I got through it successfully, but it took me like 3 days; like 20 hours longer than the allotted time for the P-Exam.

  • The actuary thing didn't work, so I kept substitute teaching longer that I intended. I got a long term 7th grade math gig.

  • Then I was an apprentice electrician building a hop kiln April to August. The job was finished, and I went to work for a Kendall Jackson facility in Napa for a wine Harvest.

  • At this point I was feeling like I could do anything, and that sales was my weakest link. My cousin invited me to shadow/assist in a Real Estate Practice, where I was intrigued and spent the last 5 years doing that. I've managed to sell about 30 homes. It's been a lumpy ride, and I'm looking for more predictability and structure.

So what is a guy supposed to do with all that? Call me if you find this and think I could hold down a position for you. 925-979-5767
